Ingredients:
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons virgin, cold-pressed olive oil
½ teaspoon basil
¼ teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon marjoram
two 28-ounce cans whole tomatoes, with juice
½ cup homemade ketchup (see recipe below)
¼ cup Florida crystal organic sugar
1 ½ teaspoons salt
Directions:
In a large saucepan, sauté onion, garlic, and seasonings in oil until the vegetables are lightly colored.
Place tomatoes with juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Add tomatoes, ketchup, sugar, and salt to the saucepan, and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or more untilthe desired consistency.

Easy Homemade Ketchup
Ingredients
1/2 cup tomato paste
1/2 cup water
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1 rounded tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Directions
Mix well together in a bowl. Cook briefly for 4 minutes to blend flavors. Chill in the refrigerator.
