Delicious Soy Curls!

Want a complete vegetarian protein that has great versatility? Soy curls might be just what you are looking for! Made from non-GMO, whole soybeans are gluten-free, rich in protein and fiber, and contain no pesticides! Grown and made in the USA.  They are great in fajitas, soups, stews, casseroles, and barbecues! Here is one of the many ways to prepare them.

Ingredients:

4 cups water

2 T cold-pressed olive oil

1 T parsley flakes

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

2 T onion powder,

2 tsp chicken-like seasoning

3 T Bragg’s amino acids

2 cloves of garlic, minced

2 T honey

1 T fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Sep1: Bring the following ingredients to a boil: 4 cups of water, 2 T cold-pressed olive oil, 1 T parsley flakes, 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 T onion powder, 2 tsp of chicken-like seasoning, and 3 T Bragg Liquid Amino.

Step  2: Turn off the heat and stir in 1 pound of Soy Curls, 2 T honey, 1 T fresh lemon juice, and 2 cloves garlic, minced.

Step 3:  Stir in the remaining seasonings and let stand for 15 minutes. Drain off the excess liquid.

Stress 4: Option. You can bake the Soy Curls until the liquid is evaporated. This will intensify the flavor and increase the chewy texture of the curls.
