Ingredients:
2 cups water
1 2/3 cup organic quick or rolled oats
½ cup wheat germ
¼ cup flaxseeds, brown or golden
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sweetener
1 teaspoon vanilla, optional
Directions:
Blend all ingredients until they are smooth.
Pour into preheated waffle iron.
Bake 15 – 20 minutes.
Yield: 1 ½ – 9-inch waffles. Each waffle has about 2 ½ tablespoons of flaxseeds.
Makes great Belgian waffles.
