This delightful and easy-to-make recipe can make either “meatballs” or oat burgers.
Ingredients:
4 cup water
1/2 cup unfermented soy sauce or Braggs Amino Acids*
1/3 cup cold-pressed oil
1 cup pecan meal or other nut meal
1/4 cup yeast flakes
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 tablespoon sweet basil
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon of Bakon Yeast (optional)
4 cups organic quick oats
*May use Coconut Amino if on sodium-restricted diet
Directions for Meatballs
Form into balls and bake about 10 minutes on each side
Directions for Oat Burgers
Combine all ingredients except oats.
Bring to a rolling boil, then remove from head and adds oats;
Allow to sit for five minutes.
Form into burgers about 3 inches diameter
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes on each side
Serving size: 16 burgers
