Ingredients:
1 medium potato
1 small onion
½ cup walnuts or pecans
4 tablespoons cold-pressed, virgin olive oil
1 cup cooked oatmeal
1 cup whole grain bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sage
2 tablespoons soy sauce or Braggs Aminos
Directions:
Grind or chop in a food processor the potato, onion, and nuts.
Sauté this ground up mixture in the oil until soft.
Add the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and form into
burgers or patties.
You may bake them instead of frying by placing burgers on an oiled baking sheet. Bake at 350 degree for 15 minutes on each side or until they are brown on both sides.
