Ingredients:

2 large unpeeled apples

1 tablespoon sweetener

¼ teaspoon almond flavoring(optional)

½ teaspoon finely-grated orange peel

coriander to taste (optional)

½ teaspoon lemon juice

3 tablespoon raisins

pinch of salt

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

Directions:

Wash and chop apples into small cubes. Mix apples with the next five ingredients and cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes.

Mix water with cornstarch and add to cooking apples. Heat altogether until starch is clear and well-mixed with the apple mixture.

You can use any pie crust recipe for the wrap.

Roll out dough and cut it into about 4″ circles. Put 1 large tablespoon of filling in each circle. Fold half of the circle of dough over to form a half moon shape.

Seal the edges shut by pressing a fork down around the edges.

Bake at 350’F about 20 minutes or until light brown.
