Ingredients
3 cups water
¼ cup Bragg’s Liquid Aminos (Use Bragg’s coconut aminos for a lower-sodium option).
1 tablespoon beef-like seasoning
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic seasoning
½ tablespoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes
1 onion, diced
3 cups quick oats
½ cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
Place all ingredients in a saucepan except oats and nuts.
Simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in quick oats and nuts.
Allow sufficient cooling to handle the next step.
Shape into burger-sized patties using an ice cream scoop or canning jar ring and a flat into which you put the mixture.
Then push the mixture out onto a cookie sheet (nonstick or oil-sprayed).
Bake at 375 degrees F until browned on both sides.
