Un-Sausages

Ingredients:

4 ½ cups warm water

½ cup soy sauce or Braggs Aminos

4 ½ cups quick oats (or rolled)1

1 tablespoon onion powder

4 teaspoons honey

2 teaspoons sage

¼ cup yeast flakes

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Directions:

Combine water and seasonings and bring to boil.

Add oats and cook 5 minutes (8-12 preferable to enhance binding). Allow sufficient cooling before handling.

Form into small patties and bake on cookie sheets at 350 degrees for 15 minutes on each side.

Can serve warm or with gravy and biscuits. Freezes well.
